The Michelin Guide
"Indigo has been my spot for excellent Indian food for years. Since way back when they were a vendor at Eastern Market. The quality has always been phenomenal, and the spices come together like no other Indian restaurant in the area. Nidhi and Dinesh have built something many local DC restaurateurs only hope to build."
"Indigo lives up to the hype. The food was absolutely fantastic and the atmosphere was cozy, with a great community feel and very friendly staff. Their mango lassi is dangerously good."
"As a self-proclaimed butter chicken connoisseur, I was suspect about the reviews. I was happily surprised. This is perhaps the best butter chicken I have ever had. Ordered on Uber Eats, but the patio looks cute and the service was quick."
The Indigo Experience
Home-style Indian food, prepared fresh each day by Chef Nidhi Tandon. Our recipes are lovingly passed down through generations, from Nidhi's grandmother to her mother, and now to her.
Stay awhile. Pull up a chair with friends, settle in at Punjab's Bar, and let the evening unfold beneath the string lights on our covered patio. This is a gathering place - a place for good food and good company. When you're here, you're family.
